Opening Day Parade and Ceremonies – May 4th

Major League games begin Tuesday, April 29th, but most of the league begins in early May. Opening Day Parade and Ceremonies are scheduled for Sunday, May 4th. We’re looking forward to another great season.

Little League Softball Days University of Michigan Alumni Field

On April 19th, and May 4th, Coach Carol Hutchins and the University of Michigan Softball Team invite you and your Little Leaguers® to attend “Little League Softball Days” at Alumni Field, the home field of the Wolverines.

All Little League teams and families are invited to attend any or all of these games at a special discounted rate of $1 for general admission seats. Simply visit www.MGoBlue.com/tickets, select Softball, and click “Promotions Codes” to enter promo code: LITTLELEAGUEDAYSSB14 and select the game you would like to attend. Little League players are asked to wear their uniform shirt on game day.

Coaches, Volunteers must complete Concussion Awareness training

Michigan was the 39th U.S. state to enact a law that regulates sports concussions and return to athletic activity.  The law went into full effect on June 30th, 2013. The sports concussion legislation requires all coaches, employees, volunteers, and other adults involved with a youth athletic activity to complete a concussion awareness on-line training program. Parent Association: You don’t have to be a coach to help our league
